Huggins Author Club
Recognizing Authors Who Continue to Build Their Legacy
The Huggins Author Club is a recognition and support program for committed authors who have published at least three active books with Huggins Publishers.
It rewards a continuing publishing relationship by providing eligible authors with enhanced visibility, convenient access to selected publication information and priority consideration for future opportunities.
Eligibility
An author may qualify for the Huggins Author Club when they have:
• At least three active publications through Huggins Publishers
• Publishing agreements in good standing
• Completed all required approvals and author documentation
• Maintained accurate contact and payment information
• Demonstrated professional and respectful communication
• No unresolved contractual or financial obligations
Different formats of the same title do not normally count as separate publications unless they have been formally accepted as distinct editions.
Active Publication
An active publication is a book that:
• Has completed the Huggins Publishers production process
• Has received final author approval
• Is available through an approved sales or distribution channel
• Remains covered by an active publishing agreement
• Is not withdrawn, suspended or out of production
Eligibility is reviewed by Huggins Publishers and is not automatic solely because three files or editions have been submitted.
Author Club Benefits
Eligible members may receive:
• Enhanced author profile on the Huggins Publishers website
• Consolidated display of their published titles
• Author Club recognition on selected promotional materials
• Priority consideration for selected publisher promotions
• Preferred scheduling for qualifying future projects
• Access to available author resources
• Invitations to selected author events or consultations
• Opportunities for interviews or featured-author content
• Access to available sales and royalty information
• Publishing updates and relevant announcements
Benefits may develop as the program and publishing platform expand.
The Huggins Author Dashboard
Eligible Author Club members may receive access to a limited Huggins Author Dashboard or reporting area.
Depending on available technology and the author’s publishing agreement, the dashboard may provide:
• Published book information
• Links to active product listings
• Available sales summaries
• Royalty-statement information
• Payment-status information
• Publication updates
• Author resources and announcements
• Contact or support options
The dashboard is intended to improve convenience and transparency. It does not replace formal royalty statements or the author’s publishing agreement.
No Separate Shopify Store
Author Club members do not receive separate Shopify stores.
Books remain listed and sold through the official Huggins Publishers store. Eligible authors may receive a dedicated profile or collection displaying their books, but they will not have access to:
• Huggins Publishers’ administrative account
• Other authors’ information
• Customer personal information
• Private company financial information
• Storewide settings
• Order-management controls
• Unrelated sales records
This arrangement protects customer privacy, company security and the confidentiality of every author.
Enhanced Author Profile
An Author Club profile may include:
• Professional author photograph
• Extended biography
• Areas of expertise or interest
• Complete Huggins Publishers bibliography
• Individual links to available books
• Selected interviews or media appearances
• Approved website and social-media links
• Author Club recognition
Authors must provide accurate, current and publication-ready information for their profile.
Priority Consideration
Author Club members may receive priority consideration for:
• Scheduling of qualifying future projects
• New-title announcements
• Website features
• Author interviews
• Publisher newsletters
• Seasonal promotions
• Book bundles or thematic collections
• Selected speaking or launch opportunities
Priority consideration does not guarantee acceptance, immediate production, media coverage, sales or placement in every promotion.
Returning-Author Advantages
Authors who continue publishing with Huggins Publishers benefit from an established working relationship. This may make future projects more efficient because the publisher already understands the author’s:
• Writing background
• Preferred published name
• Audience
• Subject areas
• Communication style
• Existing book design
• Series branding
• Publication history
Every new manuscript must still undergo assessment and written acceptance.
Sales and Royalty Information
Where reporting access is available, Author Club members may view selected sales and royalty information for their publications.
Formal calculations remain governed by the publishing agreement and are based on the agreed definition of Net Publishing Receipts.
Information may be affected by:
• Platform-reporting delays
• Refunds or cancelled orders
• Printing and fulfilment costs
• Transaction fees
• Taxes
• Currency conversion
• Distribution-channel reporting schedules
Official royalty statements remain the authoritative record.
Author Responsibilities
Author Club members are expected to:
• Maintain professional conduct
• Keep contact and payment details current
• Review statements and report concerns promptly
• Promote their books honestly
• Respect copyright and privacy requirements
• Avoid false reviews or misleading claims
• Meet agreed project deadlines
• Respond to approval requests
• Represent Huggins Publishers responsibly when identifying themselves as affiliated authors
Membership Review
Author Club status may be reviewed if:
• Publications are withdrawn or become inactive
• Publishing agreements expire or are terminated
• Required information remains incomplete
• Contractual obligations are unresolved
• Serious professional, legal or ethical concerns arise
• The author requests removal from the program
Any decision will be considered according to the applicable publishing agreements and circumstances.
